Job summary

KPG99 INC is seeking a Gen AI Engineer in Plano, TX to design and implement AI applications using AWS Bedrock and related services. The role focuses on building scalable, secure AI workflows and retrieval-augmented generation solutions that leverage enterprise knowledge sources.

You will manage prompts, context windows, grounding techniques, and tool integrations while collaborating with product owners, architects, data engineers, and security teams to optimize performance, latency, and cost

Qualifications

• Proven experience building Gen AI applications and AI workflows.
• Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and vector search.
• Hands-on with MCP concepts and tool integration patterns.
• Familiar with cloud-native architectures and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Gen AI applications using AWS Bedrock and related services.
• Build secure, scalable AI workflows for enterprise use cases.
• Develop retrieval-augmented generation solutions leveraging enterprise knowledge sources.
• Manage context windows, memory strategies, prompt composition, and grounding techniques.
• Integrate MCP-based tools to extend model capabilities and connect to enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, data engineers, and security teams.
• Evaluate model outputs for quality, safety, relevance, and factual accuracy.
• Optimize latency, cost, and token usage across AI workloads.
• Create reusable prompts, agent patterns, and orchestration components.
• Support deployment, monitoring, logging, and continuous improvement of Gen AI systems.
