IDR, Inc. in Irving, TX is seeking a Lead GenAI Developer to design and implement enterprise-grade Generative AI solutions that accelerate software development and data engineering.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI into enterprise platforms, lead Python app development on AWS, and mentor teams on best practices. Focus on secure, high-impact AI solutions and advancing AI maturity with RAG, embeddings, and AI agents.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of software development with strong Python.
• GenAI patterns: prompt design, RAG, embeddings, vector stores, agents.
• Data-centric engineering experience building services in a data engineering org.
• Data-first Python developer with enterprise data systems knowledge.
• Proven cloud experience, preferably AWS, in building & scaling software.

Responsibilities

• Drive the design, development, and adoption of enterprise-grade GenAI solutions that accelerate software development, data engineering, and business innovation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to integrate AI capabilities into enterprise platforms.
• Lead the development of scalable Python applications deployed on AWS and mentor development teams.
• Deliver secure, high-impact AI solutions that improve productivity and operational efficiency.
• Evaluate and leverage emerging AI capabilities (RAG, embeddings, AI agents) to advance AI maturity.
