Job summary

KPG99 INC is seeking a Gen AI Engineer in Plano, TX to design and implement AI applications using AWS Bedrock and related services. The role focuses on building scalable, secure AI workflows and retrieval-augmented generation solutions that leverage enterprise knowledge sources.

You will manage prompts, context windows, grounding techniques, and tool integrations while collaborating with product owners, architects, data engineers, and security teams to optimize performance, latency, and cost

Qualifications

• Proven experience building Gen AI applications and AI workflows.
• Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and vector search.
• Hands-on with MCP concepts and tool integration patterns.
• Familiar with cloud-native architectures and microservices.

• Knowledge of enterprise security, privacy, and governance requirements.
• Ability to evaluate model performance and improve response quality.
• Good communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with OpenSearch, Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, or vector databases.
• Knowledge of IAM, KMS, CloudWatch, Lambda, Step Functions, and API Gateway.
• Experience with agentic workflows and tool-calling architectures.
• Familiarity with software engineering best practices, testing, and CI/CD.
• Automotive or manufacturing domain experience is a plus.
