Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in a STEM field (Data Science, CS, Engineering, Math, Physics, etc.)
• 6+ years in data science, data engineering, software engineering, or MLOps
• 6+ years in AI/ML algorithm development and data analysis across NLP, time-series, CV, graphs
• 6+ years with Python-based data science stack (Python, Keras, PyTorch, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Docker, Kubernetes)
• 6+ years with traditional ML and deep learning (CNNs, RNNs, LSTMs, GANs)
• 4+ years leading teams on complex projects
• Willingness to travel ~10% and reside within commuting distance to Deloitte offices
• Proficiency in evaluating models, and ability to deploy production-grade AI solutions

Responsibilities

• Identify high-value AI opportunities and articulate AI vision for clients
• Serve as technical lead on AI/ML projects, defining strategy and prototyping models
• Guide clients in AI strategy, EDA, model building, validation, and deployment
• Lead AI initiatives across predictive and generative AI with scalable, compliant systems
• Support interdisciplinary teams to achieve delivery objectives and real-world performance
• Promote best practices for model validation, deployment, and testing
• Present findings and options to stakeholders including infrastructure considerations
• Mentor junior data scientists on technical practices and professional growth
• Grow delivery experience toward leadership or non-technical management roles
