Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Gen AI Architect to design and deliver large-scale Generative AI solutions. You will steer architecture across agentic AI, LLMs, RAG, and workflow orchestration, collaborating with product and business teams while mentoring engineers.

You will define AI platform standards, governance, and production deployment. A strong full‑stack background (ReactJS/Node.js) and 12+ years of distributed systems experience are required.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience designing and delivering distributed systems or enterprise software.
• Proven success delivering production-grade AI and LLM-powered solutions including agentic AI systems.
• Deep expertise with Generative AI technologies and OpenAI models; prompt engineering and orchestration.
• Hands‑on experience with agent development frameworks (LangGraph, LangChain, AutoGen).
• Strong full‑stack background with ReactJS and Node.js; capable of guiding architecture decisions.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver enterprise-scale Generative AI applications using LLMs and RAG.
• Design Agentic AI solutions with memory management, tooling, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Build scalable workflow orchestration with Temporal or similar tech.
• Define AI platform architectures including model routing, observability, and governance.
• Lead end-to-end product delivery and mentor engineering teams.
