Ujamaa Place in Saint Paul seeks a Lead GED Instructor & Adult Education Facilitator to run the on-site GED program. The role involves delivering instruction at least four days per week, building individualized learning plans, and guiding participants toward passing the GED while pursuing driver’s license prep and college enrollment.

You will assess learners at intake, tailor lessons, use GED Ready tests, maintain progress logs, and coordinate scheduling and registration for testing.

Qualifications

• Teach GED prep sessions four days a week across Math, RLA, Science and Social Studies.
• Design and maintain individualized learning plans with attendance standards.
• Provide targeted tutoring and adjust lessons using GED Ready materials.
• Collaborate with the Director and community partners to support learners.

Responsabilités

• Deliver GED instruction and program leadership.
• Assess intake levels and build individualized learning plans.
• Coordinate scheduling, registration, and support for official GED testing.
• Maintain an educational log documenting progress and outcomes.
