Job summary

The successful candidate will work with vulnerable populations, undergo background checks, and operate across multiple county sites.

Qualifications

• Six years of experience in education or with at-risk individuals or vocational training, adult training or equivalent.
• Relevant education and/or experience from an accredited college or university may be substituted.

Responsibilities

• Participates in developing teaching strategies that meet learning styles and state GED requirements.
• Assesses student needs and develops, implements, and evaluates program instruction.
• Evaluates student performance and adjusts instruction to meet learning needs.
• Ensures students, staff, and parents are informed of evaluation methods used.
• Collaborates with instructional team to promote learning activities and monitor volunteers.
• Notifies administration of special needs of students who vary from the norm.
• Maintains records and ensures required reports are completed timely.
• Performs research on trends and innovations in academic content areas.
• Collaborates with One-Stop staff to assist students in pursuing training or employment opportunities.
