The successful candidate will provide educational services for students enrolled in Pima County's Las Artes alternative education program as an academic skills instructor. They will employ approved curricula consistent with the mission and objectives of the applicable education program. They will prepare students ages 17-22 in reading and language arts, math, social studies and civics, and science to successfully complete their G.E.D. exam.
Community & Workforce Development Department works with vulnerable populations and minors. A Level one Fingerprint Clearance Card, a Criminal History Self Disclosure Affidavit, and a Central Registry background check are requirements for employment.
This classification is in the unclassified service and is exempt from the Pima County Merit System Rules.
