Job summary

HNTB in Austin, TX seeks a Project Manager to support GEC County Road Bond Programs. You will oversee consultants, manage scope, budget, and schedule, and ensure adherence to contract requirements while fostering client relationships and coordinating with local agencies.

The role requires a Engineering degree with substantial experience, strong leadership, and the ability to guide design reviews, bid coordination, and project delivery under SDA and SCA frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 8 years of relevant experience.
• 2 years task management or Deputy PM experience.
• Experience leading project teams and liaising with clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope and fee quotations and assist with proposals and contracts.
• Serve as primary client liaison and manage project teams to meet scope, schedule, and budget.
• Perform technical tasks including analysis, reports, design, and production.
• Lead project delivery using SDA and supervise team to objectives.
• Coordinate staffing, recruitment, development, and performance reviews.
• Support business development and proposal preparation for strategic projects.
• Oversee recruitment and retention plans for project staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
