Job summary

CAMS is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support the Devon Power Station’s 379-MW dual-fuel operation. You will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul GE LM6000 gas turbines, generators, pumps, motors, and associated systems, ensuring safety and reliability in a team-driven power plant environment.

Responsibilities include performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, analyzing equipment history, and supporting outage planning.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in power generation or related industrial environments.
• Experience maintaining gas turbines, preferably GE LM6000 units.
• Ability to read P&IDs, drawings, schematics, OEM manuals, and procedures.
• Proficiency with precision measurement and troubleshooting techniques.
• Must obtain and maintain required plant safety qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul on GE LM6000 turbines, generators, and related systems.
• Diagnose failures and determine root causes; support reliability improvements and outage planning.
• Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Utilize CMMS for work orders and documentation; ensure safety standards are met.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure safe, reliable plant performance; participate in training and cross-functional programs.
