Job summary

Ethereum Technologies is seeking an experienced GCP Cloud Engineer to design, implement, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. The role focuses on scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud solutions across Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, and more.

You will implement IaC with Terraform, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and deploy containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes. Strong collaboration with DevOps and security teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and managing cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficient in CI/CD pipelines and monitoring.
• US work authorization (e.g., US citizen, green card, visa).

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure on GCP.
• Manage GCP services such as Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, VPC, IAM, and Load Balancing.
• Implement IaC using Terraform.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Deploy and manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Configure networking components (VPCs, subnets, firewall rules, VPNs, load balancers).
• Enforce cloud security best practices (IAM, encryption, access controls).
• Monitor using Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging; troubleshoot issues.
• Optimize resources and costs; ensure backup, DR, and high availability.
• Collaborate with DevOps, development, security, and operations teams; maintain docs.

We are looking for an experienced GCP Cloud Engineer to design, implement, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with cloud services, infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, monitoring, security, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
• Manage GCP services such as Compute Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, VPC, IAM, and Cloud Load Balancing.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Configure networking components, including VPCs, subnets, firewall rules, VPNs, and load balancers.
• Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, service accounts, encryption, and access controls.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure and application performance using Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, deployment, and performance‑related issues.
• Optimize cloud resource utilization and reduce infrastructure costs.
• Manage backup, disaster recovery, high availability, and business continuity solutions.
• Collaborate with DevOps, development, security, and operations teams to support application deployments.
• Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
