About the job:

GCP Data Engineer

Role - GCP Data Engineer (Visualization experience)

As a Data Engineer, you will work on transforming raw data into a usable format for analysis. Responsibilities include cleansing, organizing, and manipulating data using pipelines, applying data engineering principles on Google Cloud Platform, and creating interactive dashboards and reports for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

1. Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture.
2. Assemble large, complex data sets to meet business requirements.
3. Identify, design, and implement process improvements, automate manual processes, optimize data delivery, and redesign infrastructure for scalability.
4. Build infrastructure for data extraction, transformation, and loading using SQL and other sources.
5. Develop analytics tools to provide insights into business metrics.
6. Design visualizations to communicate data insights using Tableau, Streamlit, Dash Enterprise, and Power BI.
7. Use Flask to develop APIs for data integration and automation.
8. Collaborate with stakeholders to support data infrastructure needs.

Candidate Profile

Required Skills:

• Expertise in Dash Enterprise UI development and storytelling.
• Experience with real-time data exploration, predictive modeling, and deploying ML modules on GCP.
• 5-8 years of experience with ETL technologies.
• 3+ years in data engineering with SQL, Hadoop, BigQuery, Dataproc, Composer.
• Strong Python/PySpark skills.
• Hands-on with Tableau, Power BI, Dash, Streamlit.
• Experience with Flask for API development and workflow automation.
• Knowledge of data automation in cloud environments.
• GCP Data Engineer certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of data schema design.
• Effective communication skills.
