Job summary

Engg seeks a GCP Cloud Systems Engineer to lead design, deployment, and operations of our Google Cloud Platform environment, migrating a legacy on-prem setup to cloud-native orchestration. You will blend systems administration with DevOps, writing Terraform, troubleshooting networking, and guiding Airflow adoption.

You will oversee IAM, Secret Manager, Cloud Armor, IAP, and SOC2 readiness, plus design monitoring with Google Cloud Observability and implement backup, patching, and cost control.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years managing production environments in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• 3–5 years migrating on-prem batch scheduling to GCP Composer or Apache Airflow.
• Proven IaC experience with Terraform for provisioning cloud resources.
• Strong Docker and Kubernetes (K8s) proficiency.
• Expert Linux administration and networking knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using IaC (Terraform).
• Deploy and manage Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run/Functions.
• Configure VPCs, VPN/Interconnect, Load Balancing, DNS, and security controls.
• Implement IAM, Secrets with Secret Manager, Cloud Armor, and IAP.
• Establish monitoring with Google Cloud Observability and backup/disaster recovery.
• Lead legacy batch scheduling migration to GCP Composer/Airflow.
