Job summary

Programmers.io seeks a GCP Cloud Engineer to architect and deliver Google Cloud workloads across Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Spanner, Pub/Sub and more.

Responsibilities include building infrastructure as code with Terraform, managing CI/CD with Cloud Build and Git, implementing IAM, Secrets Manager, KMS, and policy guardrails, and establishing observability with Cloud Monitoring and Logging.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in cloud engineering or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services and architectures
• Experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver GCP workloads across Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Spanner and more
• Implement IAM, secrets management, KMS, policies, and security guardrails
• Establish observability with Cloud Monitoring, Logging, Error Reporting and tracing
• Lead incident response, runbooks, postmortems and cost optimization efforts
• Mentor engineers and document standards for scalable cloud architectures
