Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company in Grenada, MS is seeking a hands-on assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble coils per drawings, follow safety and quality procedures, and support multi-tasking on the line.

• Must be able to make basic adjustments to equipment required to keep process in control.
• Requires lifting and pushing up to 50 lbs. Majority of position requires standing and walking, but bending and stooping are required.
• This job requires multi-tasking to keep things progressing.
• This position requires mental and visual alertness and self-motivation.
• Must be able to work any hours required.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment, set up equipment, identify and locate required tooling and ensure that all work is correct.
• Make arithmetic calculations, read blue prints, understand a bill of material and use measuring devices.
• Use equipment including impact guns and pop-rivet guns; pull parts for next order; set up sheet metal; install fins and lace tubes per the drawing.
• Assist in training personnel when required.

Position Description

Perform various tasks per group leader instructions, assemble coils in compliance with dimensional drawings, adhere to safety requirements and quality methods and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

This position requires the ability to operate equipment, set up equipment, identify and locate required tooling and ensure that all work is correct. This position also requires the ability to make arithmetic calculations, read blue prints, understand a bill of material and use measuring devices. Ability to use equipment, this would include any equipment in assigned area, such as impact guns, pop-rivet guns and any other related equipment necessary to the position. Operators will be required to pull parts for next order, set up sheet metal, install fins and lace tubes per the drawing. This position will assist in training personnel when required.
