Fogo de Chão in Miami is seeking a Gaucho Chef to prepare and grill traditional churrasco meats with precision and flair. You will serve guests in the authentic gaucho style, ensuring warmth and hospitality at every table. This role requires strong culinary skills, efficiency, and a passion for Brazilian grilling traditions.

The position involves working a fast-paced environment, maintaining grill station cleanliness, and upholding guest satisfaction through expert preparation and presentation.

Qualifications

• Must be able to transport objects up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Previous gaucho/churrasco cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook beef and other meats according to traditional Brazilian churrasco recipes.
• Season and grill food according to prescribed traditional method and guests' requests.
• Portion, garnish and present to patrons in the style of Brazilian gaucho.
• Answer guests' questions concerning churrasco-style food and convey gaucho culture and demeanor.
• Maintain cleanliness of the grill area.
• Complete any beginning or closing shift duties.
