Fogo de Chão in Peabody is seeking a Gaucho Chef to join our kitchen team. The role focuses on preparing and cooking beef and other meats using traditional Brazilian churrasco methods, seasoning to guest requests, and presenting in gaucho style.

Qualifications

• Can lift objects up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Able to work weekends and holidays as required.
• Exposure to fast-paced kitchen environment and high-volume service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook beef and other meats per traditional churrasco methods.
• Season and grill according to traditional methods and guest requests.
• Portion, garnish and present foods in gaucho-style plating.
• Answer guests' questions about churrasco and Brazilian gaucho culture.
• Maintain cleanliness of grill area and station.
• Complete all opening/closing shift duties as assigned.
