Job summary

DHL Express is seeking a Gateway Quality Assurance & Training Specialist to support quality, compliance and performance objectives for gateway operations. You will administer and deliver QA and training programs for import/export activities, auditing performance, identifying gaps and coaching staff to improve accuracy and regulatory adherence.

Working with operations leaders, you will monitor competency, measure training effectiveness, and contribute to process improvements and new system

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse or related field preferred.
• Analytical mindset and strong communication skills are essential.
• Ability to effectively present and facilitate trainings.

The Gateway Quality Assurance & Training Specialist is responsible for supporting the quality, compliance, and performance objectives of Gateway operations through the administration and delivery of quality assurance and training programs for import and export activities. This role evaluates operational performance, conducts audits and analyses, interactions, identifies compliance and knowledge gaps, and provides targeted coaching and training to improve employee effectiveness and regulatory adherence.

Working closely with operations leaders, supervisors, and cross‑functional stakeholders, this role delivers training programs, monitors competency and quality standards, and measures training effectiveness to ensure employees have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles accurately and compliantly.

The role contributes to operational excellence by identifying opportunities for process improvement, supporting the implementation of new initiatives and systems.

Anticipated Annual Salary Range: $75,825-$101,100

Key Accountabilities

• Evaluate performance quality and compliance
• Set quality objectives, conduct evaluations, and provide ongoing feedback
• Partner with leaders and department supervisors managers to assess skill gaps and define training priorities
• Work closely with team managers and supervisors to conduct post‑training evaluations and coaching to gauge training effectiveness and identify strengths for reinforcement and weaknesses for further training
• Schedule, deliver and facilitate individual or group training and development programs in support of the business goals and objectives
• Reinforce mandated training programs , awareness training, and specific departmental training classes/programs
• Participate on cross‑functional teams to improve Learning and Development systems and processes
• Consult with managers and leaders in the business to understand business problems and opportunities to enhance eLearning and deployment or other learning technology solutions
• Participate and contribute in cross‑departmental collaborations to identify areas for service improvement covering processes or controls and recommend specific clearance improvement actions
• Assist in the implementation of new initiatives or system releases
• Manage Gateway Exception Handling operations including but not limited to conducting warehouse and ramp searches and Hypercare of key accounts.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support operational requirements and business objectives

Skills/Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse or industry related field preferred
• Analytical mindset
