Job summary

Milwaukee Tool seeks a Gatekeeper to ensure every order follows established steps and is corrected before moving through the system. This role keeps the distribution center running accurately and safely, with emphasis on attention to detail and timely processing.

You will verify incoming and outgoing orders, research and fix discrepancies, support material handling, and uphold 5S and safety standards in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Basic math and basic computer skills required.
• High attention to detail essential.
• One year distribution center or quality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend order information and work instructions.
• Verify that incoming and outgoing orders are correct.
• Ensure pallets and boxes match High Jump reports.
• Research and fix order or box errors.
• Identify and correct problem scans and communicate resolution.
• Assist in other areas such as material handling, stocking, and packing.
• Practice 5S and Safety and adapt to change.

Your Role on Our Team:

The Gatekeeper is responsible for making sure all steps in the process are followed and anything incorrect is corrected to ensure orders make it through the system physically and systematically.

You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

• Read and comprehend order information and work instructions
• Knowledge of all systems in the distribution center
• Verifies that incoming and outgoing orders are correct
• Verifies that pallets and boxes match what High Jump reports
• Ability to research and fix errors with orders/boxes
• Identifies and corrects problem scans
• Identifies and isolates errors and communicates resolution
• Assist in other areas of the cell as needed, such as material handling, stocking, and packing
• Practice 5S and Safety
• Able to react to change effectively and handle other tasks as assigned

The TOOLS you’ll bring with you:

• High School or GED diploma required
• Excellent organizational skills and time management skills required
• Must possess basic math and basic computer skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to perform work per instructions and within reasonable time
• Must have one year distribution center or quality experience
