Job summary

Milwaukee Tool in Olive Branch, MS, is seeking a Gatekeeper to ensure all steps in the order process are followed and errors corrected so orders move smoothly through the system.

You will work in production/distribution, verify incoming/outgoing orders, handle quality checks, and support material handling, packing and 5S and safety practices on site.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Must possess basic math and basic computer skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to perform work per instructions and within reasonable time.
• Must have one year distribution center or quality experience.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend order information and work instructions.
• Knowledge of all systems in the distribution center.
• Verifies that incoming and outgoing orders are correct.
• Verifies that pallets and boxes match what High Jump reports.
• Researches and fixes errors with orders/boxes.
• Identifies and corrects problem scans.
• Identifies and isolates errors and communicates resolution.
• Assist in other areas such as material handling, stocking and packing.
• Practice 5S and safety practices.
• Able to react to change and handle other tasks as assigned.

Your Role on Our Team:

The Gatekeeper is responsible for making sure all steps in the process are followed and anything incorrect is corrected to ensure orders make it through the system physically and systematically.

You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

• Read and comprehend order information and work instructions
