Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Gatekeeper for the first shift (Mon-Fri, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM) to ensure orders are processed accurately and in accordance with established procedures.

The Gatekeeper verifies data, corrects errors in the system, and supports other distribution center tasks while upholding 5S and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Excellent organizational skills and time management required.
• Basic math and basic computer skills required.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work per instructions and meet time targets.
• One year distribution center or quality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend order information and work instructions.
• Verify that incoming and outgoing orders are correct.
• Verify pallets/boxes match High Jump reports and fix errors.
• Research and correct order discrepancies and system issues.
• Assist in other areas of the cell, such as material handling and packing.
• Maintain 5S and safety standards and adapt to changes.

Your Role on Our Team:

The Gatekeeper is responsible for making sure all steps in the process are followed and anything incorrect is corrected to ensure orders make it through the system physically and systematically.

You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

• Read and comprehend order information and work instructions
• Knowledge of all systems in the distribution center
• Verifies that incoming and outgoing orders are correct
• Verifies that pallets and boxes match what High Jump reports
• Ability to research and fix errors with orders/boxes
• Identifies and corrects problem scans
• Identifies and isolates errors and communicates resolution
• Assist in other areas of the cell as needed, such as material handling, stocking, and packing
• Practice 5S and Safety
• Able to react to change effectively and handle other tasks as assigned

The TOOLS you’ll bring with you:

• High School or GED diploma required

• Must possess basic math and basic computer skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to perform work per instructions and within reasonable time
• Must have one year distribution center or quality experience
