Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Gatehouse in Mesa, AZ to safeguard clients across industries, including automotive manufacturing. You will perform patrols, maintain a visible presence, deter incidents, and uphold Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

A valid driver's license is required for this driving position. This full-time role offers on-site work with a pay rate of $20.00 per hour and a shift schedule from 2:00 PM

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 21+ for driving roles; 18+ for unarmed roles; background check required.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, parking areas, access points, offices, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, document visitor/contractor activity.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations and maintenance concerns to site leadership.
