Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Gatehouse Driver in Moncks Corner, SC. You will protect client sites, manage access, and assist with visitor sign-in while maintaining a courteous, safety-first approach.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and access control requirements at a tech and telecommunications location.
• Control access at entry points by verifying credentials, issuing and collecting visitor passes, managing sign-in logs, and directing visitors to approved destinations.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems; identify unusual activity and report or escalation per post orders to help deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities and communicating updates to appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, building entrances, and the perimeter; document observations and submit required reports.
