Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an unarmed Security Officer – Entrance Access in Moncks Corner, SC. You will safeguard clients across logistics and distribution sites, conducting routine patrols, monitoring access points, and supporting badge-related processes with clear communication and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, check credentials as required, and document the entry and exit of employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and request appropriate support when needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff documentation, and promptly report maintenance, access-control, and other security-related concerns to site leadership.
