Job summary

Ann’s Choice by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Gatehouse Officer to staff the community entrance, deliver exceptional customer service, and uphold safety and security. The role covers Saturday and Sunday shifts from 3:00PM to 11:00PM, with compensation starting at $17/hr as part of a larger benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior experience as a Security Gatehouse Officer preferred.
• Current and valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge visitors, provide a pleasant greeting, and offer assistance as needed to all persons entering the community.
• Screen all vehicle and pedestrian traffic entering the community.
• Provide proper parking passes, maps, and instruct visitors to park in appropriate spaces.
• Document all visitors and vendors/contractors via the standard gatehouse log in.
• Inform the security and emergency services supervisor of any inspectors, government representatives, process servers, and law enforcement attempting to enter the community.
• Complete thorough and detailed incident reports using our online report system.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all information pertaining to protected health information or any other sensitive or confidential information obtained while employed by or pertaining to the company, its employees, business information, or residents.
