Job summary

Republic Services in Homedale, ID is seeking a Gate Attendant/Scale Operator to monitor waste volumes and ensure accurate billing at intake. You will collect payments, issue receipts, and balance daily receipts. The role also involves documenting waste, coordinating with operations on special loads, and maintaining a clean work area.

Qualifications

Experience handling cash and balancing receipts.
Experience using computers and various software programs.

Responsibilities

Monitor and record waste volumes entering the site.
Accept or reject waste loads and advise alternatives as needed.
Receive payments and provide receipts to customers.
Balance daily receipts and deposit them securely.
Document waste using scales and computer systems.
Notify operations of special waste and process paperwork.
Answer phone calls and provide general information.
Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
