Job summary

Capital Consultants Management Corporation (CCMC) is seeking Gate Hosts to warmly greet residents, guests and contractors and manage access at the community entry points. You will be on the front lines, delivering professional service and ensuring secure, smooth entry.

This full‑time role requires strong interpersonal skills, a basic tech aptitude, and the ability to work early mornings or evenings. You’ll join a collaborative team committed to safety, service, and supporting a vibrant

Qualifications

  • Six months of customer service experience.
  • Willingness to work early mornings and evenings.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to defuse tense situations with tact.
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents, guests, and contractors with access to the community.
  • Maintain accurate guest lists and update as needed.
  • Identify community resource providers and provide appropriate access.
  • Verify entry codes for contractors and personnel.
  • Log all vehicles entering the premises.
  • Coordinate access for events and deliveries after hours.
  • Monitor surveillance cameras for security incidents.
  • Direct visitors and provide directions.
  • Complete documentation and administrative tasks.
  • Provide superior customer service at all times.

Gate Hosts are responsible for assisting residents, guests, and contractors with access to the community property. They are on the front‑lines of greeting homeowners and guests with a warm and professional demeanor.

What you’ll accomplish:

  • Assisting residents, club members, new home builders, vendors, service providers, and approved guests gain access to the community
  • Maintaining accurate guest list for residents and addressing updates as needed
  • Identifying community resource providers, ie; utility / delivery services and giving appropriate access
  • Supporting adherence to construction admittance guidelines, and verifying valid entry codes for contractors and construction personnel
  • Logging all vehicles entering the premises
  • Maintaining contact with appropriate parties to manage events requiring property access and delivery of after‑hours codes when necessary
  • Observing surveillance cameras throughout shift for signs of gate failure, unauthorized entry, or incidents occurring at entry / exit points
  • Monitoring and controlling traffic flow at the construction gate and during special events
  • Providing directions to visitors
  • Completing all necessary documentation and performing administrative tasks as needed
  • Providing superior customer service at all times

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum of six months experience in a customer service environment
  • Flexibilty to work non‑traditional business hours, including early mornings and evenings
  • Must possess a high degree of interpersonal and communications skills
  • Capability of relating to a variety of people and personalities with the ability to defuse tense situations
  • Possess a high level of initiative and good judgment
  • Honesty and integrity
  • Self‑motivated with an eagerness to learn new tasks
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Must pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check

If driving is, or becomes, a requirement of the role, it is required, at all times, that you hold a valid state driver’s license for the class of vehicle you are driving, maintain a clean motor vehicle report, and hold current automobile insurance at statutory limits. You must notify Human Resources immediately regarding any change to your motor vehicle standing. CCMC may periodically review motor vehicle reports to ensure compliance with these requirements.

The physical requirements can vary, but generally, they may include:

  • Mobility: Ability to walk the grounds long distances in various weather conditions.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Occasionally lifting and carrying supplies or equipment up to 25 pounds.
  • Extended Sitting or Standing: Capability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings or events.
  • Manual Dexterity: Skills in using technology, including computers and mobile devices.
  • Driving: Ability to operate vehicle to perform certain job functions. (Please note: We will request and review an MVR at the time of hire and on a periodic basis thereafter to ensure that employees maintain a satisfactory driving status.)
