Job summary

Right Way Garage Doors in Santa Rosa, CA, is seeking an experienced Gate & Commercial Service Manager to lead our Commercial Install and Service teams. You will oversee service and installation operations, manage sales, dispatch, pricing, inventory, fleet maintenance, hiring, and training.

This role requires 5+ years in gate/commercial garage door work, 3+ years of leadership, and a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and safety.

Qualifications

• 5+ years gate/commercial garage door experience.
• 3+ years leadership experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varied conditions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee gate/commercial garage door service and installation teams to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Manage all department operations including sales, dispatch, pricing, inventory, fleet maintenance, hiring, and training.
• Create and execute marketing plans, internal promotions, goal tracking, and lead generation.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes and safety and service standards.
• Provide technical support and ongoing coaching to team members.
• Hire, onboard, and evaluate technicians.
• Monitor team performance to maximize profit and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with leadership to generate departmental reports and budgets.
• Respond quickly to service issues, maintain operational uptime, and track inventory and fleet usage.
• Handle scheduling, including flexibility for emergencies, weekends, or holidays.
