Job summary

ExplorUS is seeking a part-time Gate Attendant to provide friendly guest service at gatehouses, handling cash and credit transactions and checking in reservations.

You will greet guests, explain park rules and services, and maintain a clean gate area. This role requires weekend/holiday availability and teamwork in a busy outdoor environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old (21 to drive) with reliable transportation.
• 1 year of experience in a customer service or hospitality role.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Available for weekends, holidays, and peak visitation periods; schedules arranged with local management.
• Strong customer service skills; enjoys frequent public interaction.
• Genuine concern for guests’ experience.

Job Title: Gate Attendant
Reports to: Gate Supervisor
Classification: Regular, Part-Time, Non-Exempt
Summary: The Gate Attendant is responsible for providing excellent service to guests, agencies, and staff at assigned gatehouses or kiosks. The Gate Attendant position is responsible for the accurate and timely handling of cash and credit transactions at the gate/kiosk locations. Gate Attendant will check in all guest reservations and day-use visitations, greet all guests in a courteous and professional manner, and effectively communicate knowledge of Park Rules/Regulations, services and features to all guests.
