Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling and registering patients for procedures is preferred.

• Ability to verify insurance eligibility and explain required forms to patients.

Responsibilities

• Schedule specialized appointments and follow-up visits as per physician requests.
• Review pre-visit guidelines and instruct patients on preparation, required documents, and arrival times.
• Register patients for medical care including labs and outpatient services; pre-register when needed.
• Collect complete demographic, employment, emergency contact, and insurance information.
• Explain and obtain signed consent/release forms as required; assist with Medicare/Medicaid questions.
