The position demands completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent, with strong patient care, rooming, vital sign measurements, and CLIA-waived lab tasks. Prior MA experience is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required; MA program or military clinical training may be accepted.
• Two years of Medical Assistant experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Adhere to MA scope of practice and follow department policies while caring for patients.
• Perform rooming tasks: vital signs, med history, health maintenance, screenings.
• Assist provider with procedures and venipuncture, specimen handling, and POCT per orders.
• Maintain lab duties per CLIA waivers and ensure proper labeling and results tracking.
• Administer medications/vaccines safely and manage refills, scheduling, referrals as needed.
• Ensure a clean, stocked, organized work environment; participate in onboarding new teammates.
