Job summary

Ardelyx is seeking an Area Business Director (Gastroenterology) to lead a direct, customer-facing presence with gastroenterology providers and clinic staff. You will help Ardelyx promote a first-in-class product and establish the company as a leader in patient care with novel mechanism medicines.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Patient Services, and Market Access teams, master disease-state knowledge, and ensure all activities comply with industry regulations and Ardelyx policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience.
• Experience in specialty pharma/biotech sales, gastroenterology preferred.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Product launch experience.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales objectives.
• Deliver results to healthcare professionals and patients.
• Develop and execute an effective sales plan.
• Collaborate with peers to optimize opportunities in gastroenterology group practices.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Patient Services and Market Access.
