Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Post-secondary courses in Medical Terminology, computer applications and secretarial skills, or equivalent required.
• Experience in hospital or medical office performing similar tasks preferred.
• Experience in reception or customer service settings required.
• Experience with ICD-10 and CPT coding required.

Responsibilities

• Performs surgery scheduling duties, including coordinating appointments.
• Handles prior authorization and coding tasks.
