Job summary

Parkland Health in Dallas is seeking a registered nurse for the Gastroenterology Lab in the Day Shift. The RN will coordinate patient care, perform assessments, administer meds, monitor sedation, and work with the healthcare team to ensure safe, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is a BSN-preferred graduate, has an active Texas RN license with BLS/ALS/ACLS, and can serve as a preceptor and Charge Nurse on rotation.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care in Gastroenterology Lab.
• Perform continuous patient assessments and monitor status.
• Administer medications and sedatives as ordered.
• Maintain accurate documentation in patient records.
• Provide education to patients and families as required.
• Serve as preceptor and participate in Charge Nurse rotations.
