Job summary

Tryon Medical Partners in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care including assessment, treatment, care planning, and evaluation of patient status. You will assist physicians, coordinate care, and act as a primary liaison among patients, staff, and providers to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities include direct patient services, triage by phone and in person, starting IVs, administering medications, documentation in the EHR, and patient education

Qualifications

• RN degree or nursing diploma from an accredited program.
• Current state registered nurse license.
• CPR certification and BLS; ACLS if role requires.
• Hepatitis B vaccination and flu vaccination forms required.
• TB test required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assessment, treatment, care planning and evaluation.
• Administer medications, start IVs and monitor responses.
• Coordinate care with physicians and staff; act as liaison among patients, staff and providers.
• Perform triage by phone and in person; determine urgency and direct to appropriate care.
• Educate patients and families on health status, disease management and medications.
• Document assessments and interventions in the EHR; maintain patient records.
