Job summary

Tryon Medical Partners is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to support the Ballantyne ASC Gastroenterology team. The RN provides professional nursing care, performs procedures, administers medications, and documents clinical information in a fast-paced setting.

Candidate should hold an RN license, BLS/ACLS, and be able to work with diverse teams. VB vaccines and TB testing requirements apply. Monday–Friday 6am–3pm schedule may vary.

Qualifications

• RN degree from an accredited school.
• Current state RN license.
• Current BLS certificate.
• Maintain BLS/ACLS certification.
• Hepatitis B vaccination and flu vaccine form required.
• TB test required.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing care for the comfort and wellbeing of the patient.
• Administers medication.
• Performs basic nursing assessment and documents care.
• Maintains sterile field and equipment prior to procedures.
• Participates in Risk Management and quality initiatives.
• Assists with orientation of new employees and other duties.
