Job summary

BMC is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Gastroenterology department in Massachusetts. Schedule: 34 hours per week, days shift.

The role emphasizes nursing assessment, care planning, intervention, evaluation, and coordination across the care continuum under MA Board of Registration in Nursing guidelines. The position requires MA RN licensure, BLS (ACLS as applicable), and a nursing degree (Diploma/ASN/BSN; BSN within 4 years is preferred).

Qualifications

• RN licensure in MA in good standing
• BLS certification required; ACLS may be required for some units
• Diploma/ASN/BSN education preferred; BSN feasible within 4 years
• General computer proficiency and ability to access and interpret electronic data

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation and coordination of care.
• Provide direct patient care in gastroenterology department.
• Collaborate with health care team and families across care continuum.
