Job summary

VA Northern California Health Care System – Redding site seeks a board-certified Gastroenterologist to provide independent diagnostic and therapeutic gastroenterology care to veterans. Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship per VA policy.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in the United States.
• Residency training in an ACGME/AOA accredited program.
• Board certification in Gastroenterology is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent gastroenterology care for veterans.
• Perform routine upper and lower endoscopy procedures.
• Document care in CPRS EMR and participate in quality improvement.
• Coordinate GI services and oversee department operations.
