Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Physician (GI) eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP).

Qualifications

• Must hold an MD or DO degree from an approved school.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in the US.
• Residency training with board eligibility in a core specialty.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat GI/liver disease in inpatient, outpatient, and consult settings.
• Perform endoscopic and non-endoscopic GI procedures per privileges.
• Coordinate patient care with PCP, inpatient teams, ED, and external services.
• Engage in administrative tasks such as peer reviews and evaluations.
