Job summary

Bassett Healthcare Network in Central New York seeks a full-time Advanced Trained BC/BE Gastroenterologist to join a 5-physician group with APRNs. The role includes teaching residents and students, and EMR-EPIC is in use.

Location is Cooperstown, NY with a salary range of $550,000–$675,000 and a sign-on bonus up to $200,000. Call 1:4 and strong GI/liver disease focus are offered in a major teaching affiliate setting.

Qualifications

• MD/DO/MBBS with BC/BE in USA Gastroenterology
• Completion of USA Gastroenterology Fellowship
• New York State Licensure
• BLS Certification Required
• DEA Required

Responsibilities

• Join an established group of 5 physicians and 3 advanced practice clinicians
• Practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region
• Become a part of Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive academic health system and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons
• Demonstrated proficiency in standard GI procedures and testing
• ERCP and EUS skills welcomed but not required
• Educational focus – teach and mentor residents and medical students
• Call guaranteed to be no more frequent than 1:4
• Instant Referral Base provided with over 500 Network Clinicians
• Strong interest in clinical G.I. and liver disease
• EMR-EPIC

Compensation

• Salary Range: $550,000 - $675,000.
• This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
• Sign-On Bonus: up to $200,000
• Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.
