Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Communicates with patients, staff and the public by phone and in person; provides accurate information and guidance.
• Prepares schedules, medical records and documents; maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
• Performs check-in, registration and demographic/fiscal verification; confirms insurance, collects co-pays, and directs patients to next service area.
• Monitors patient flow; acts as liaison to ensure timely service delivery and resolves flow issues.
• Processes check-out, schedules follow-ups and related tests; provides educational materials as indicated; enters billing tickets.
