Job summary

Temple Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (PA-C or CRNP) to join the Department of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, PA. The role focuses on delivering patient-centered GI care across the oncology continuum in an outpatient setting, with occasional inpatient cross-coverage.

The APR will work with GI physicians and fellow APPs in a multidisciplinary team to provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative GI services, participate in

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program or Masters OR Doctorate degree: Nursing (MSN or DNP)
• MPA-LIC – PA Medical Physician Assistant License
• NCCPA – Certified Physician Assistant OR CRNP – PA Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner
• RN-LIC – PA Registered Nurse License

Responsibilities

• Conducting outpatient clinic visits independently and with faculty.
• Reviewing imaging, pathology, and lab results to guide care decisions.
• Coordinating care across a multidisciplinary team.
• Educating patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and supportive care.
• Participating in tumor boards, case discussions, and team-based initiatives.
