Job summary

Candidate Consult invites a Nurse Practitioner to join a respected Gastroenterology service in Southern Ohio. You will evaluate, treat, and manage GI patients, support outpatient care and follow-up visits, and educate patients while coordinating treatment plans with gastroenterologists and the clinical team.

Qualifications

• MSN or DNP from NP program.
• Current NP certification from a national body.
• Active Ohio APRN license or ability to obtain.
• Prescriptive authority and DEA registration or ability to obtain.
• Gastroenterology, internal medicine, hospital medicine experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat, and manage GI patients.
• Support outpatient GI care, follow-ups, and education.
• Coordinate treatment plans with gastroenterologists and team.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff.
