Job summary

Candidate Consult is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join its Rheumatology service in Southern Ohio. The NP will evaluate and manage patients with autoimmune and musculoskeletal rheumatic conditions, develop treatment plans, monitor labs and medications, and educate patients on disease management and therapies.

The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians and clinical teams, with a patient-centered approach and opportunities for professional growth and flexible contract structures.

Qualifications

• MSN or DNP from an accredited NP program.
• Current NP certification from a recognized certifying body.
• Active Ohio APRN license or ability to obtain.
• Prescriptive authority and DEA registration or ability to obtain.
• Rheumatology, internal medicine or related clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with autoimmune, inflammatory and musculoskeletal rheumatic conditions.
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans with supervising physicians.
• Monitor medications, lab results and disease progression.
• Provide patient education on disease management, medications and lifestyle.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff and specialty teams.
• Support expansion of Rheumatology access within the community.
