Job summary

Piedmont Medical Care Corporation is seeking an APP for Gastroenterology Outpatient services in Georgia. You will work with physicians to provide direct patient care, perform examinations, and manage diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

The role emphasizes health promotion and chronic disease management within a team-based clinic. Requires GA APN with MSN or GA PA with NCCPA, CPR/ACLS, and strong EMR skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with current Georgia Advanced Practice Nurse license and a Master’s degree in Nursing.
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current GA license and NCCPA certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist in diagnosing medical and surgical problems and prescribe treatments.
• Take patient histories, conduct examinations, and document in patient records.
• Order and interpret labs; explain procedures to patients and obtain consent.
• Carry out wound care and minor procedures; monitor progress and report to supervising physician.
• Formulate diagnoses and treatment plans; provide patient education and follow-up care.
• Provide clinical support in physician’s absence and assist office staff as needed.
