Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking an Advanced Practice Practitioner to join the Primary Care Outpatient team at our McDonough, GA clinic. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, providing high-quality care in a collaborative outpatient setting.

The APP will deliver medical services to individuals and families, focus on health promotion, and manage acute and chronic diseases while supporting physicians in caring for the PCP patient panel.

Qualifications

• Master's and Bachelor's degree from an Accredited PA program with National Board Certification.
• Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by the State of Georgia with National Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical services to individuals, families and/or groups.
• Emphasize health promotion as well as acute and chronic disease management.
• Augment a physician's ability to provide medical services to patients.
• Collect and document data, conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order and schedules laboratory studies and professional consultations and provide direct patient care services.
• The APP will work collaboratively with multiple IM providers in the care of the PCPs patient panel.

Education

Master's degree from Accredited PA program

Bachelor's degree from Accredited PA program

Georgia NP license + National Certification
