Job summary

Gastro One, powered by One GI®, seeks a Nurse Practitioner to join our Germantown, TN team. You will conduct routine and urgent follow-ups, manage new patient visits, and work with physicians to support digestive health patients.

Qualifications

• Registered nursing license and NP licensure as required by the state.
• Graduate of an accredited NP program and board-certified with prescriptive authority.
• Three years of professional nursing experience in a clinic or hospital setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills and knowledge of billing services.

Responsibilities

• Routine follow-up visits in the office.
• Urgent follow-up visits in the office.
• Urgent and provider requested consults and new patient visits.
• G-tube changes.
• Hemorrhoid banding (after training).
• Large volume paracentesis (as permitted).
• Communicate patient care activities to the physician (visit notes/test results).
• Collaborate with physicians in managing acute and long‑term medical needs of patients.
• Order appropriate medication, laboratory, and diagnostic procedures.
• Administer medications and injections.
• Interview and advise patients regarding health and illness prevention.
• Triage patient telephone calls and provide consultation.
• Provide monitoring and continuity of care between physician visits.
• Perform a physical exam and records findings.
