One GI, LLC is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide gastroenterology patient care in collaboration with supervising physicians. The role spans clinic and inpatient settings with a focus on triage, procedures, and education.

The NP will perform rounds, assist with procedures, and coordinate care across teams, with requirements including NP certification, ACLS, and prior clinic/hospital nursing experience.

Qualificações

• Registered Nursing license and NP licensure requirements vary by state.
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with board certification and prescriptive authority.
• Three years of professional nursing experience in a clinic or hospital setting.
• ACLS certification is required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide first point of contact medical triage for inpatients and weekend call coverage (as negotiated).
• Provide care in office and inpatient settings, including G-tube changes, hemorrhoid banding after training, and large volume paracentesis as permitted.
• Communicate patient care activities to the physician (visit notes/test results).
• Order medications, laboratory and diagnostic procedures; administer medications and injections.
• Instruct patient and family regarding medications and treatment; provide patient education.
• Maintain and review patient records; triage calls; ensure continuity of care between physician visits.
