Sanford Health in Marshfield, WI is seeking a Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner to provide advanced nursing care for GI patients in collaboration with a gastroenterologist. You will perform patient assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and educate patients on disease management.

Responsibilities include ordering and interpreting GI tests, prescribing therapies per state regulations, and maintaining thorough documentation in the EHR.

Qualifications

• APRN licensed in the state(s) of practice.
• National board certification as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP-BC) or ACNPC-AG.
• DEA permit to prescribe controlled substances in each state of practice.
• State-specific licensure for Nurse Practitioner.

Responsabilités

• Provide advanced nursing care to GI patients in collaboration with a gastroenterologist.
• Perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans for GI disorders.
• Order, perform, and interpret GI-related tests and procedures.
• Educate patients on disease management and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records and participate in quality improvement.
