Parkland Community Health Plan is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Gastroenterology Lab. This PRN, part-time position supports a day shift (6:45am-4:15pm) at the Main Hospital Building, 2nd floor.

The RN will coordinate patient care, perform nursing processes, and participate in education and interdisciplinary collaboration. Qualified candidates must hold an RN license in Texas or a valid compact license, with BLS certification and ALS/ACLS upon hire.

Qualifications

• RN license current in Texas or valid compact license
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification
• ALS or ACLS certification on hire or placement

Responsabilités

• Provides nursing care per the Texas Nurse Practice Act and department standards
• Conducts continuous assessment, alerts team, and implements orders promptly
• Serves as a resource for patients and staff and conducts in-service education
• Acts as Charge Nurse on rotation and may precept or train staff
